Please be patient while the video & photos load
last updated 26/5/08

Fearne gave birth to a litter of 4 dogs and 2 bitchs, on 26th July 2007. They are all red and white , at present 3 are dark and 3 are a little bit lighter. Fearne is a very loving and protective mother and her pups are all doing extremely well

Mums pedigree and Dads pedigree

I will place photos and updates on the pups progress over the coming weeks on this page.......so pop back and see how they are all doing, just go down the page to see all the updates

A short video of Fearne and her pups when they were 1 day old.

The puppies 1 week old and getting bigger by the day

***8th August pups are 13 days old and have all opened their eyes and are moving around more.***
10th August
pups all had their claws clipped as they are too long and poor Fearne is getting scratched when she is feeding them. Today was also the start of the pups first worm treatment, so Fearne, Buzz and Zak were all wormed too.
Video and photos of pups taken on 10th August (15 days old)

WHERE ARE WE?
WOTS OUT THERE?
WILL I TRY GETTING OUT OF HERE?

It was a sunny day so pups were outside for a wee while
while I cleaned the kennel. As you can see they are starting to move around a bit more and being a wee bit adventurous.
I'VE MADE IT OUT BUT i WANT BACK WITH YOU LOT

*** 15th August, pups are 20 days old and get their first solid meal. They end up with more on themselves *** than in their tummies to start with. Fearne does a good job of cleaning them all and they all have a go at cleaning themselves and one another.

Pups eating their first solid meal and mum, Fearne joining
in too, showing them it's ok to eat......

*** 26th August. Pups started their 2nd worming treatment ***
The pups are all growing well, getting more lively by the day and more adventurous. Their puppy food isn't getting softened anymore, they are now eating it dry with a wee bit of meat mixed into it. They have also been stealing Fearnes raw chicken wings and having a nibble on them too. They are still waking through the night and Fearne is being good and giving them a feed. They are on 4 solid meals a day now, starting with their breakfast at 6.00 am. While Fearne is feeding her pups she is on 3 meals a day. So our days are filled with feeding and clearing up after the dogs and pups. The pups are now being advertised on epupz, ad-mart, classifieds, pets4homes and locally.

Photos below are of pups 25 days old out in the sun

We got a wee bit wet when oot back was getting washed, but we liked the water coming out of the hose :-) It was fun!!
We're tired now so a wee nap is next for us zzzzzzzz

Can you guess which pup is the most adventurous?
I couldn't find him yesterday, but discovered him in my
living room. He had sneaked in the backdoor (not easy keeping an eye on 6 fast moving pups) and was having a good look around the house, Zak was lying sleeping in the living room. When the pup disturbed Zak, he growled at him and the pup ran and hid behind the telly unit. That didn't frighten him too much though 'cause he is back annoying Zak today. :-)

***31st August 2007***
Two of the pups came into the house to play, it was too
much for one pup who fell asleep on the sofa. The
bitch pup (below) will be going to live in Dunfermline
and is now called Molly

For some reason I have really struggled trying to think of
Kennel Club names for this litter. I have to think of 12 names,
2 for each pup and then the KC decides which name the pup
gets on it's KC Certificate. I've been brainstorming today
and come up with some weird and wonderful names, so
I better hurry and get this litter registered or their
certificates won't be here in time for the pups going
to their new homes.

It was really sunny day so I managed to get a wee bit of video of the pups playing in the garden today too. They are now 5 weeks old and are so lively and inquisative that is hard to my eye on 6 lively pups all at once.

*** 6th September *** The pups are now 6 weeks old and have been to the vets to be checked over and get their first vaccination. They all enjoyed their first car ride and behaved very well at the vets.

*** 8th September *** We had a wee visit from their big brother, Jake, who was born last year. The pups enjoyed running and playing with him in my neighbours garden. I'm lucky I have very good neighbours, who never complain about my dogs or pups and as it is their son and his fiance who Jake lives with, we see Jake quite regualrly.

My name is now Archie
*** 18th September *** The 2 bitch pups and 1 dog pup have now got new home to go to. 1 bitch is going to live in Dunfermline and the other in Staffordshire, the dog will be living in Aryeshire. They have all been given their new names, which are Skye, Rowan and Molly. so their is only 3 dog pups left to find new homes for, if I could I would keep them all myself.
