Buzz and Fearne's Puppies 2008
Please be
patient while the video & photos load
Fearne decided to go into
labout on Friday 11th April and I was thinking for once she was
going to have her pups during the day. Fearne had other ideas
though....... she hung on to her pups until just after 1am when
she gave birth to the first wee bundle ............. I sat with
her all night while she delivered pup after pup until the last
one, puppy number 6, was born just after 7am. I was shattered,
but Fearne was totally exhausted, she fed her pups and we both
managed to get about an hours sleep before the rest of the household
woke up.

19th April
the
pups are 7 days old now and all growing well and have
about doubled in size since they
were born.
A very short video of the pups having
a snooze, turn your sound up so you can hear
the wee noises they make

In these 2 photos
you can see that 2 of the bitch pups
have slightly lighter brown coats. The dog pup is at
the front of the photo with his lovely dark brown coat.

3rd May pups
have their first solid meal, this is dry puppy food softened
with some puppy milk ...... yum yum!!
The pups soon got in about this, munching and slurping and
totally getting themselves covered in their dinner. Fearne
was quick to lick them all clean and constantly checking
her pups were ok........ |

I'm starting to jot
down names/words in preparation
for applying for their Kennel Club names. This task never
seems to get any easier, but I better get a move on if their
KC Certificates are to arrive in time for the pups going
to
their new homes.

The pup sticking her
head out of the basket above is
known to us as Teeny. She is the smallest pup of the litter
and you
can see the difference in the size of her head to the dog
pups in the photo below. Now they are on solids Teeny will
soon be as big as her brother and sisters. |

8th May another
beautiful sunny day here in Scotland, the pups have been
outside for a wee play and are now sleeping in the kennel
in the shade. Silly me forgot to have my camera handy,
but I will try and get some more photos later today when
they are out again. The pups are trying to get out of
the whelping box now by themselves, but they are just
not quite big enough, it won't be long though. They have
sussed out that the kennel door when opened is a way in
and out and they all, even 'Teeny', manage to negotiate
the wee step.
