8th May
another
beautiful sunny day here in Scotland, the pups have
been outside for a wee play and are now sleeping in
the kennel in the shade. Silly me forgot to have my
camera handy, but I will try and get some more photos
later today when they are out again. The pups are trying
to get out of the whelping box now by themselves, but
they are just not quite big enough, it won't be long
though. They have sussed out that the kennel door when
opened is a way in and out and they all, even 'Teeny',
manage to negotiate the wee step.

10th May
the pups were outside eating their dinner while I was
cleaning the kennel, when we had a thunder and lightening
storm. I looked out of the kennel to see if they were
alright and they were all still munching their dinner
and not in the least bit fazed by the thunder, lightening
or the heavy rain. So after dinner they were all dried
off and put to bed in some nice new fresh straw. This
was the start to a busy week, the pups are getting more
mobile and active noo and stay awake for longer inbetween
sleeps and feeds. Also 'cause they are eating more solids
the Head Poo Lifter (my son) has more of a work load
to deal with :-) They also had a raw egg to play with
and when it cracked they ate it, even some of the shell
which is full of calcium, and good for them.

12th May
I was woken at 3am this morning with one of the pups
greetin (crying), she had got out of the whelping box
and out of the kennel all by herself and couldn't get
back in again. So I now know that they can get out of
the whelping box all by themselves noo. Even Teeny can
get oot, she stands on a plastic bottle that they play
with and pulls herself out of the box. Oh no!!! theres
no stopping them now. I also started the 2nd worming
treatment today.

they had scambled egg and toaast for one of their meals
and they thoroughly enjoyed it. They couldn't get the
egg eaten fast enough

16th May
the pups are now 34 days old. We have an new addition
to our four legged part of our family, his name is Archie,
he is 9 months old and we are fostering him until we
can find him a new suitable home. I will tell you more
about Archie later. Our next
door neighbour came over to play with the pups for a
while today.
