Veggie Pulp

When I make a batch of veggie pulp I use a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables that I have available. These can include;
Spring Greens
Cabbage
Brocoli
Turnip
Carrots
Lettuce, Peppers
Cucumber,Tomatoes
Bananas, Apples,
Grapes, Pears
Plain Yogurt
egg cup of Sunflower Oil
Clove of Garlic (natural flea repellent)

In the summer I give my dogs frozen Veggie Pulp. They like to lick and crunch it. It helps to keep them cool.
In the winter I cook some pasta and mix the veggie pulp with this.

Put your chosen ingredients into a bender and blitz until everything turns into mush (see left). Put into containers and freeze. One cup of veggie pulp per dog 2-3 times a week is about right.
I have found freezing my veggie pulp in Pot Noodle or large Yogurt tubs gives me enough veggie pulp in each tub for my 2 dogs.

When it is dinner time I serve the veggie pulp with a raw egg plus its shell and sometimes sardines or tuna mixed through it.
